IMPORTANT NOTICE CONCERNING COVID-19
Important Notice Concerning Coronavirus (Covid-19)
Coronavirus has arrived in Ireland. For the safety and protection of our guests and employees in relation to Covid-19, we have implemented additional preparatory measures as part of a coordinated response.
The priority is the safety of the team and our customers, through the establishment of industry lead very best practices.
We are committed to taking action to whatever level to support the safety of all.
Here are some of the actions agreed or executed, following on from earlier actions to date.
1- Established Hotel Kilmore team to lead the activities inhouse - Martina Gaffney, Michelle O'Harte, Louise O'Neill, Megan O'Connor, Bernadette Kelly, Karen Henry, Kevin Rooney, Natasha O'Connor, Martin Stewart & Paul Henry.
2- Commitment to unlimited budget.
3- Sanitizer points at all entry points, tills and back of house areas.
4- Walk though entire public areas to establish all touch points and establish 30 min schedule to sanitize all of these, eg doors, switches, counters etc.
5- Communications platforms established for internal efficient flow of comms via WhatsApp for Hods, use of internal facebook closed group, ezines and memos.
6- One to one training on hand hygiene implemented for all team.
7- Notice points for team and public on hand washing and preventative measures
8- Research and engagement with IHF and HSE for best practice advice
9- Paper towels for public bathrooms in place
10- Audit of all glass and dish washing temperatures scheduled and implemented
11- Full procedure for sanitising all bedrooms after guest departure, eg all touch points such as handles, doors, remote controls etc
12- Ongoing communications with all team about symptoms and procedures
13- Commitment from all the team to allocate their time and amend their rotas and schedules to support all activities if necessary.
