Spent a couple of days touring Cavan and Monaghan, we would have stayed longer if we had of known there is so much to do.

Hotel was great, enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant and you have a really nice lounge to relax in.

Dear Paul,

We have great pleasure in writing to you to congratulate you and thank you and your staff for making our wedding day, 24th February, the enjoyable experience it was. It was clear from the moment we approached a member of your team about your banqueting facilities that the staff of the hotel exude the same warm and welcoming atmosphere you have created in the hotel. We can honestly say that there was no doubt in our minds that your hotel would be the perfect setting for our reception due to the friendly and professional treatment we received.

We would especially like to thank Sharon for her enthusiasm and understanding of the type of atmosphere we wanted to create. We thank Denise for her diligence, attention to detail and the warm smile that always greeted us. Elaine worked hard in the early stages, even convincing the head chef to allow our favourite dessert, creme brulee, to be served on the day. Kathleen was our reception contact and like the other staff nothing was too much trouble, she was a pleasure to deal with. Thank you also to Martina who helped to iron out the only little crease on the day.

Paul your friendly attitude and quiet, reassuring presence on the day didn't go unnoticed. Our Best Man was impressed to see your highly organised hands-on approach with your waiting staff. They in turn conducted themselves impeccably and many guests commented on the fact that the food seemed to appear before them in such a way that the flow of conversation was not interrupted by the service. Hats off to Martin, the head chef, and his team who produced a fantastic meal and indulged us in our cheese buffet and the way we wished it to be presented.

We have received countless compliments regarding the food and our choice of venue both from strangers to the hotel and locals. We have been glad to praise both the hotel and its staff went talking to friends both before and after our wedding day. We already know of two couples who are looking to your hotel for their own big days and were delighted to hear of our positive experience.

Mr Mealiff can be very proud of his hotel and staff and will receive a similar letter so that you and your staff might receive his praise as well as our own.
